| It's the NIU year! went kinda last minute shopping with the bf on friday, and hell it was. i was stupid enough to give my new heels a test run for CNY on that shopping trip and i ended up a whiney baby. we were shopping at marina square and things were't any better with all the last minute shoppers rushing their shopping too. so we had to hurry along with my stuff and hurriedly got a seat at starbucks.
we sat there for like what, close to an hour before i reluctantly agreed to get on my feet again. we just sat on the comfy chairs for that one hour, taking turns to play with the (show-off) bf's iphone. haha.
our orders
the bf concentrating on his game of pac-man.
lots of people were at my place on monday. the kids were simply rowdy so i restricted entrance to my room to girls only. haha. my young niece, who used to be really afraid of me, was so much fun that day. probably because she's got a new target to fear. the bf. hahaha. it was that bad, she clutched her bloster and retreated to a corner when i said i wanted to ask the big brother to come play with us.
my youngest niece, only 4.
today, went to the zoo after i went over to the bf's place to visit. heels. again. but it wasn't as bad a situation yet. went into kidzworld and had to wait for our free buggy ride out of the place. so we went around, taking photos, fooling around.
try lifting it up my man. i'd be a cow if you actually managed it.
this is one of a series of photos taken on the same spot. you think you male model ah? haha.
more photos on facebook!

| the bf's having a sick night. been complaining of stomachaches. man and i don't even know how to help him. i feel so useless.. ):
BUT, well, a tad too late but still,
MERRY CHRISTMAS, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
day of christmas eve, the bf gave me a surprise christmas present. he got me to go to his place, and there was a chocolate trail from the main door leading right into his room and there he was, standing in a chocolate heart circle, beckoning me over to recieve my very chocolatey christmas gift. i was touched to tears. and i think he's trying to fatten me up so he can cook me and eat whenthere's no food. hahaha. christmas eve evening was spent with the bf and his friends. went to gelare at one fullerton, which was so empty, i thiught it was a normal weekday. but the crowd picked up as the night went on uh. had turkey and log cake for dinner. the woon popped by to pass me his hand baked cookie/gingerbread(couldn't tell. sorry!) boy and girl. thereafter, went to this place a few doors down, called "over easy", where stanley, the bf's friend works. had a few drinks, and christmas midnight struck (: turkey wasn't filling, since we were all quite big eaters so we ended up walking to lau pa sat for supper. that about ended the night.
the heart he was standing in and the trail leading off the photo
all the chocolates he gave me, missing a box of ferrero collection
the woon's handmade present(:
our christmas ice cream log cake!
the bf didnt want to get his hair messed up..
thats me, the bf and xuanyi. i collaged the photos.
christmas evening, was spent at the zoo. the zoo guys has this dinner and gift exchange thing so since we had nothing much planned the bf and i decided to pop by since there was free food. hurhur. kinda weird, cos i haven't been back for awhile. but it was fun nevertheless, since there were still people i knew. and that was about it for the night..
the part timers photo, with our "ah ma" sitting front
group photo!; both photos courtesy of grace's blog
there was supposed to be another gathering with the bf's classmates on the 26th. but since many decided to conveniently excuse themselves at the last minute, it was cancelled. can't remember what i did that day already though...
new year's eve was our first ever together. but it was also the bf's sister's birthday. so we went for dinner with his family. was back at his place by 9 and i hung around his place till the ams, counting down and watching fireworks on the tv set. haha. as the clock struck midnight and everybody in the magic box was jumping in excitement, the bf and i shared (of course, a kiss, and) a bottle of beer and gave toast to everybody, everything. to a great year ahead, together. Happy 2009 (:
was back at work the next day, at the zoo. been awhile since i've worked there. so i was quite excited. cashier for the day too. and it was quite a rude shock the amount of cash i had to handle after handling the meagre sums that i do in t3 for the past months. shall brace myself since i have more days at the zoo this month. brace!
lunar new year is approaching! looking forward to ang pows, ba kwas, ferrero rochers and steamboats. its non stop eat and talk and collecting money. ooh i like. haha.
had a cookie baking night with corsai sometime back. it was seriously one hell of a night. we started shopping in the afternoon, and we had to search 5 supermarkets to find the brownie pre mix and the chocolate that we needed. reached my place at dinnertime and we had to finish dinner before we could start baking. and as luck would have it, my place was out of eggs! to think that my place, normally an egg warehouse, would run out. by the time we were done, it was like 1 am. the bf came by at about 11 to eat his share of the brownie. the poor boy had a flu. my poor brownie wasn't finished. bad timing man.
preparation in progress!
baking in progress!
cooling in progress!
the bf's sweetheart brownie(:
all decorated and packed
oh, and this is a random photo from the time we had a zoo outing a few weeks back. had a trip into kidzworld and we were playing with one of the playthings. hurhur.
Cheers! wow that was a really long post...

| went for a "movie marathon" with the boyfriend yesterday. watched yes man, twilight and ip man within what, 9hours. comedy, drama and action all in one day. it was fun. ip man is one show worthy of watching. fight fight fight. action scenes were great. really. was so excited watching the show, i couldn't fall asleep after. haha. photos will be posted after i upload them..
on another note, bosses are such pricks. never see the good stuff that we do and only pin point us when we fail in whatever we're supposed to do. excuse me, if we were fooling around at the supposed time when you saw us, i'd have fucked any-old-body i see around there. come'on. there weren't even any customers. so we can't hit the target, so we are supposed to buy up with our own money whatever that we have to hit it? if you were that great, come work yourself. see how easy it is. you don't need us. you want screwed up? i'll give you screwed up.
supposed to send in my work days for next month today. don't feel like.
leaving the prick in the ass, egypt was real fun. pyramids. tombs. sand. desert. sea. wow. giza, red sea, river nile. all really beautiful. photos shall show what i mean. cos i can't find words to describe. | | |
| Ok i got this from Clayton. It's so darn funny, I couldn't stop sniggering into the monitor.
